Duplicates

Do you ever buy duplicates of clothes? I do - not always, but sometimes. There have been times when I've regretted not buying duplicates, for instance if I've found a pair of pants that fit perfectly, which almost never happens. Other times I've regretted getting duplicates, if an item didn't turn out to be as good as expected. Or maybe I found that I really don't need the same top in x colors......

Anyway, here's my most recent duplicate. I bought this slate grey viscose/silk combo top before Christmas, and I loved everything about it! The fabric, the drape, the slightly asymmetrical hem - you name it. It looks great with slim pants, casually elegant with wide leg dressy pants and it even works with a narrow skirt. So I made the decision to get it in one of my neutral basics - light beige. The picture doesn't do the colour justice, it's a bit more creamy and very beautiful IRL.

I recently purchased a lovely midnight blue v-neck viscose mix sweater too, and I'm considering a duplicate in this lovely rose color as well:) V-neck sweaters are a staple in my wardrobe, so I prefer to have a a couple of those in various colors.

    1. Yes, they were really nice! I got my silk/viscose tops on sale as well, at a fraction of the original price:)

    1. I think as long as you actually wear the clothes, it's fine:)And you're welcome!

  3. It goes without saying for tees. But I do it with sweaters and shoes all the time too.
